I guess you would call this a Japanese remake of the 2005 Academy Award-winning film, "Sideways." The story follows similar lines as Michio returns to the US to attend the wedding of his best friend, Daisuke. They had attended college together in California 20 years ago. They set out on a weekend-long road trip through the Napa Valley and run into an old flame, Mayuko, and her Japanese-American friend, Mina. The New York Times called the film, "one of the most intriguing of cross cultural experiments."
The Wolfman

Set in 1891, Lawrence Talbot (Del Toro) plays a nobleman who returns to his family estate to help search for his missing brother.
