Reset Passwords and Parental Controls

Customers who currently have passwords and parental controls set up on their Motorola set-top boxes will need to set up that information again.

To reset your Auto Tune feature:
Look for the button on your remote control. Press the button twice. Highlight the word "setup" and press the button. The words “Guide setup” should be highlighted. Press the button again. Press the (arrow down) button two times and highlight the words “No Auto tune”. Press the (left arrow) button. This should change and now read “Auto-tune”. Press the button.

To turn your clock display feature back on:
Look for the button on your remote control. Press the button twice. Highlight the word “setup” and press your button. Press the (arrow down) button and highlight the words “cable box setup”. Press the button. The words “current channel” should be highlighted. Press the (right arrow) button. This should now say “current time”. Press the button.

To set your cable box volume level:
Look for the button on your remote control. Press the button twice. Highlight the word “setup” and press your button. Press the (arrow down) button and highlight “audio setup” and press . Press the (arrow down) button to “optimal stereo” and highlight the word “no” and press the (right arrow) button. The word “yes” should now be in the highlighted area.

Pin Setup

1. Select Setup from the Main Menu
2. Select PINs Setup
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to setup, clear, or change your PINs

Parental Locks Setup:

1. Press the button, or use the “lock icon” on the information screen
2. Enter your 4-digit Parental Locks PIN and lock the channel, title, or rating using the on-screen prompts.
