Windjammer doesn't want you to be without service. Our policies are designed to help  keep our system and your service in ship-shape.

Service calls
Cable-related problems that you haven't been able to fix yourself with our Help Yourself tips will be fixed for FREE by Windjammer's technicians. You can schedule a service appointment within a four-hour time block during regular business hours by calling 888-495-2881.

It's important, for the protection of both you and our employees, that an adult 18 years of age or older be present during a service or installation appointment.

On time service guarantee
Your time is valuable. That's why, if we're not on time for your scheduled service appointment, upon request we'll credit $20.00 on your account during the next billing period. You can request the credit by calling us at 888-495-2881.

Regular maintenance
To keep our system running smoothly, Windjammer technicians periodically test and perform repairs on equipment throughout our system. This may result in a temporary loss of service to your neighborhood. We try to schedule the work early in the morning - between 1 - 6 a.m. - whenever possible in order to disrupt viewing for as few people as possible.

Sports blackouts
Sometimes the home games of local sports teams are "blacked out" or not shown by Windjammer, in conformance with FCC (Federal Communications Commission) rules governing contracts between sports leagues and broadcasters. Blackouts are usually not announced until shortly before a game is played. That means a game may be listed in the newspaper or TV Guide, but won't be televised. It's disappointing, but it's out of our control.

Cable service theft
It's illegal to steal cable service - in fact, a person could be fined or imprisoned under federal law for doing it. Moreover, tampering with or altering cable service or equipment to receive service costs both Windjammer and its legitimate customers a lot of money and can even damage the quality of the signal to other customers' homes. If you suspect that there has been cable theft, call us at 888-495-2881 and we'll come and check. We appreciate your vigilance!
